Highway Hypnosis

Wednesday, October 21, 2009
I bet you didn't know that you can be in a way hypnotized while your driving, it's called highway hypnosis!

Highway hypnosis is a trance that is induced when a person is in the car driving on a highway in a straight path staring at the same image like the lines in the center of the highway and listening to a continuous sound like the humming of the car.

Highway Hypnosis only occurs at night when a person is alone in the car because there are no sounds or things to look at.<

After staring at the same thing like the lines in the middle of the highway and listening to the car humming for a few minutes you will fall into a trance like state for a few seconds.

To prevent this:
  • Play the radio while driving
  • have someone talk to you either in the car or on the phone
  • keep moving your eyes and dont focus on the same thing for too long
  • do not drive while tired!<
DO NOT TRY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS DANGEROUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Addition! (again)

Text Hypnosis
---------------
Yep! I said it and I DO mean text hypnosis. Some of you might have heard of it already but most of you are pretty new to this. I will NOT be talking about embedded commands or about covert hypnosis and I certainly will not be talking about something that most of the people have witnessed before. So you're pretty excited now, aren't you? Either way I'm pretty sure that what you're about to read right now will be pretty valuable for you (otherwise I wouldn't be posting this, wouldn't I?).
Now let's get back to the point, now that you have read this, you want to learn how to hypnotize people through text? Then you need the following requirements to be fit:

1) Originality - Don't use the following as a script as I do not recommend any scripts because text hypnosis, just like anything else in life, cannot be planned out and besides, you cannot be original when using a script so get the basic understanding and go amaze everybody with your new gained knowledge after this post!

2) Be ethical - Don't hypnotize without permission BECAUSE -- It's not ethical (obviously) and it won't work anyway because in text hypnosis, you need full compliance and will to get hypnotized. There is a lot to be covered in ethics but just remember that don't do anything that you wouldn't want to be done to you!

3) Have fun - What's the point doing hypnosis if it's not fun? Doing it purely to gain money is something that will take all the fun out of hypnosis for both you AND your subjects, so if you're zapping people while having fun then nothing else matters. Sure, of course you have the right to gain benefit but my thought is that having a wonderful subject to hypnotize is a reward enough! :D

4) Have an IM client - Skype, msn, yahoo, icq will all do! Why do you think you need to have an instant messenger? Because unlike story telling with embedded commands or patterns, you have to do this in real time meaning that you must always get a response from the subject, that's how text hypnosis works, you act based off the replies you get.

Now that we have covered all that and you think you have the requirements right then let's continue!

How to do Text Hypnosis
--------------------------

Now that I think about it... it's pretty hard to answer that question, so ill be posting a transcript here and I will be commenting on each important section and after you have read it all, you will see a few things you need to know when you will start zapping people with text hypnosis yourself!
ps: It might and probably will be lengthy so you might want to read this only if you are really interested and dedicated because yes, it will take some time to read it all :)

[8/18/2009 10:50:36 PM] Theodor: is that okay? //it's important to let the subject pick a short signal for yes and for no so that he/she wouldn't have to look at the keyboard (A simplistic way to let the subject respond)

[8/18/2009 10:50:53 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: ok a=yes l=no
[8/18/2009 10:51:01 PM] Theodor: Great

[8/18/2009 10:51:37 PM] Theodor: From this moment on, I want you to respond using signals only
[8/18/2009 10:51:39 PM] Theodor: is that okay? //once again, set compliance and it's nice to ask for permission + it's important that the subject will only respond using the signals
[8/18/2009 10:51:43 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 10:51:49 PM] Theodor: great
[8/18/2009 10:51:56 PM] Theodor: now..

[8/18/2009 10:52:21 PM] Theodor: I will type a color, and that's right, keep concentrating on the screen
[8/18/2009 10:52:25 PM] Theodor: and when I will type that color
[8/18/2009 10:52:35 PM] Theodor: you will feel a pleasant feeling somewhere in your body
[8/18/2009 10:52:40 PM] Theodor: Is that okay?

[8/18/2009 10:53:00 PM] Theodor: When you start to feel that nice plesant feeling // don't worry about typo's, it's not all that important as long as you don't say something completely wrong, you will probably see a lot of mistakes in grammar but don't worry about these, it's all alright :)
[8/18/2009 10:53:05 PM] Theodor: you can simply signal yes
[8/18/2009 10:53:13 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 10:53:16 PM] Theodor: So you can just take your time and let it happen
[8/18/2009 10:53:17 PM] Theodor: Great
[8/18/2009 10:53:19 PM] Theodor: now
[8/18/2009 10:53:26 PM] Theodor: In a moment I will type another color

[8/18/2009 10:53:38 PM] Theodor: That feeling will start spreading
[8/18/2009 10:53:40 PM] Theodor: is that okay?
[8/18/2009 10:53:43 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 10:53:45 PM] Theodor: ready?
[8/18/2009 10:53:47 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 10:53:50 PM] Theodor: BLUE
[8/18/2009 10:54:01 PM] Theodor: When you notice that feeling spreading
[8/18/2009 10:54:06 PM] Theodor: slow
[8/18/2009 10:54:09 PM] Theodor: or fast
[8/18/2009 10:54:16 PM] Theodor: you can simply signal yes
[8/18/2009 10:54:21 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 10:54:25 PM] Theodor: perfect
[8/18/2009 10:54:31 PM] Theodor: Now..
[8/18/2009 10:54:35 PM] Theodor: I will type another color
[8/18/2009 10:54:40 PM] Theodor: and when you see that color
[8/18/2009 10:54:50 PM] Theodor: you will let that feeling spread into rest of your body
[8/18/2009 10:54:52 PM] Theodor: is that okay?
[8/18/2009 10:54:56 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 10:54:59 PM] Theodor: ORANGE
[8/18/2009 10:55:08 PM] Theodor: and as you think about this now
[8/18/2009 10:55:23 PM] Theodor: you can begin to notice that feeling spreading
[8/18/2009 10:55:30 PM] Theodor: going down your neck
[8/18/2009 10:55:36 PM] Theodor: through your back
[8/18/2009 10:55:38 PM] Theodor: down to your toes
[8/18/2009 10:55:55 PM] Theodor: and when you begin to notice that nice pleasant feeling completely spread through your body
[8/18/2009 10:55:58 PM] Theodor: you can simply signal yes
[8/18/2009 10:56:03 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
//What you see above is a simple induction/method/routine to make the subject feel good and become more responsive
[8/18/2009 10:56:06 PM] Theodor: perfect
[8/18/2009 10:56:14 PM] Theodor: Now, your doing really good.
[8/18/2009 10:56:29 PM] Theodor: now
[8/18/2009 10:56:31 PM] Theodor: in a moment
[8/18/2009 10:56:41 PM] Theodor: I want you to signal me yes unconsciously
[8/18/2009 10:56:46 PM] Theodor: and dont do that consciously
[8/18/2009 10:56:49 PM] Theodor: let it just happen by itself
[8/18/2009 10:57:03 PM] Theodor: Anytime one of your fingers can just simply twitch
[8/18/2009 10:57:16 PM] Theodor: As you begin to notice how one of your fingers is feeling slightly different than another
[8/18/2009 10:57:24 PM] Theodor: feeling slightly heavier
[8/18/2009 10:57:29 PM] Theodor: that's right
[8/18/2009 10:57:40 PM] Theodor: just take your time and let it happen
[8/18/2009 10:57:46 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 10:57:48 PM] Theodor: perfect
[8/18/2009 10:57:50 PM] Theodor: thank you
[8/18/2009 10:57:53 PM] Theodor: Now
[8/18/2009 10:58:30 PM] Theodor: Unconscious mind, please signal me yes when your ready to communicate for your own good so we can help Alfred experience wonderful things
[8/18/2009 10:58:47 PM] Theodor: When your ready to communicate with me, unconscious mind, simply signal yes.
[8/18/2009 10:58:54 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 10:58:57 PM] Theodor: perfect
[8/18/2009 10:58:59 PM] Theodor: thank you
[8/18/2009 10:59:26 PM] Theodor: Now, please send Alfred into a nice, enjoyable memory while we talk so he wont disturb us for his own good.
// I think this sorta speaks for itself, doesn't it?
[8/18/2009 10:59:31 PM] Theodor: is that okay?
[8/18/2009 10:59:38 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 10:59:47 PM] Theodor: now.. Please do that and signal me yes when your done
[8/18/2009 11:00:04 PM] Theodor: it can take as short as 2 seconds
[8/18/2009 11:00:09 PM] Theodor: or as long as 12
[8/18/2009 11:00:14 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 11:00:16 PM] Theodor: perfect
[8/18/2009 11:00:18 PM] Theodor: thank you
[8/18/2009 11:00:31 PM] Theodor: Now that we can talk without Alfred disturbing us..
[8/18/2009 11:01:11 PM] Theodor: Could you please make that so everything between (_) is invisible to Alfreds conscious mind because everything in (_) is just for you, not his conscious so we can communicate even better now.//now the MOST important suggestion, if this doesn't work, you can try again or.. simply use another method :D
[8/18/2009 11:01:14 PM] Theodor: Is that okay?
[8/18/2009 11:01:40 PM] Theodor: Is that okay with you unconscious mind?
[8/18/2009 11:01:44 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 11:01:47 PM] Theodor: perfect
[8/18/2009 11:02:16 PM] Theodor: so please signal me yes when that effect is that strong so Alfred will have no idea what is between (_) because it's simply in non importance because it's just for you.
[8/18/2009 11:02:32 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 11:02:35 PM] Theodor: perfect
[8/18/2009 11:03:05 PM] Theodor: Now, when I will say "awake", please awaken him and let him talk with him
//Now you see another typo but NO PROBLEM!! Above you see a very simple way to get someone out of trance
[8/18/2009 11:03:12 PM] Theodor: AWAKE
[8/18/2009 11:03:18 PM] Theodor: Hey, how are you feeling?
[8/18/2009 11:03:38 PM] Theodor: Alfred, your awake now aren't you, how are you?
[8/18/2009 11:03:51 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: hey im good
[8/18/2009 11:04:01 PM] Theodor: great
[8/18/2009 11:04:10 PM] Theodor: now, could you do something for me?
[8/18/2009 11:04:13 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: i feel very relaxed
[8/18/2009 11:04:16 PM] Theodor: great
[8/18/2009 11:04:21 PM] Theodor: Could you do something for me?
[8/18/2009 11:04:22 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: yes
[8/18/2009 11:04:44 PM] Theodor: Please type me the following numbers that you see on the screen
[8/18/2009 11:04:49 PM] Theodor: and read them fast, type them as fast as you can
[8/18/2009 11:05:13 PM] Theodor: 1 (2) 3 9 (4) 3 1 (9) 5 5
[8/18/2009 11:05:14 PM] Theodor: type them fast
//Let's see if this works, shall we? If it doesn't, check again or like I said above, use another method.
[8/18/2009 11:05:21 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: 1393155
[8/18/2009 11:05:28 PM] Theodor: thank you :)
[8/18/2009 11:05:32 PM] Theodor: now
[8/18/2009 11:05:41 PM] Theodor: Could you please put your fingers back on the signals
[8/18/2009 11:05:48 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: ok
//A simple way to put someone under again
[8/18/2009 11:05:53 PM] Theodor: and signal me yes when your unconscious is ready to communicate with me again.
[8/18/2009 11:06:06 PM] Theodor: is that okay with you?
[8/18/2009 11:06:10 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 11:06:14 PM] Theodor: great
[8/18/2009 11:06:34 PM] Theodor: So please signal me yes, when unconscious mind is ready to communicate with me and make all those wonderful changes happen
[8/18/2009 11:06:49 PM] Theodor: And as you think about this now, you can relax
[8/18/2009 11:06:57 PM] Theodor: just take your time and let it happen
[8/18/2009 11:06:58 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 11:07:00 PM] Theodor: perfect
[8/18/2009 11:07:02 PM] Theodor: thank you
[8/18/2009 11:07:06 PM] Theodor: Now..
[8/18/2009 11:07:45 PM] Theodor: Unconscious mind, could you please send Alfreds conscious mind into a nice pleasant memory so we can make all those wonderful changes happen for his own good now?
//Add "for his good now" in the end because it helps a lot
[8/18/2009 11:07:55 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 11:07:59 PM] Theodor: perfect
[8/18/2009 11:08:03 PM] Theodor: so please signal me yes when your done
[8/18/2009 11:08:15 PM] Theodor: it can take as long as 12
[8/18/2009 11:08:19 PM] Theodor: or as short as 2
[8/18/2009 11:08:20 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 11:08:23 PM] Theodor: perfect
[8/18/2009 11:08:27 PM] Theodor: now..
[8/18/2009 11:08:30 PM] Theodor: As your sitting there
[8/18/2009 11:08:36 PM] Theodor: feeling relaxed and simply wonderful
[8/18/2009 11:09:09 PM] Theodor: You can let yourself feel even better while your concentrating on my words
[8/18/2009 11:09:34 PM] Theodor: so.. unconscious mind, could you please make him forget his name now?
//WOO!! Amnesia!
[8/18/2009 11:09:43 PM] Theodor: is that okay with you?
[8/18/2009 11:09:46 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 11:09:48 PM] Theodor: great
[8/18/2009 11:10:08 PM] Theodor: so please signal me yes when that name is completely and totally gone from his mind, the harder he tried to remember it the more it slips away.
[8/18/2009 11:10:16 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 11:10:19 PM] Theodor: perfect
[8/18/2009 11:10:28 PM] Theodor: So his name is totally and completely gone from his mind now?
[8/18/2009 11:10:32 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: a
[8/18/2009 11:10:34 PM] Theodor: perfect
[8/18/2009 11:10:35 PM] Theodor: now
[8/18/2009 11:10:40 PM] Theodor: In a moment
[8/18/2009 11:10:56 PM] Theodor: I will say "awake" and when I do, please awaken him and say Hi.
[8/18/2009 11:11:00 PM] Theodor: AWAKE
[8/18/2009 11:11:02 PM] Theodor: hey
[8/18/2009 11:11:03 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: Hi
[8/18/2009 11:11:07 PM] Theodor: how are you?
[8/18/2009 11:11:13 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: good
[8/18/2009 11:11:16 PM] Theodor: great :)
[8/18/2009 11:11:27 PM] Theodor: So, can I ask you something?
[8/18/2009 11:11:31 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: sure
[8/18/2009 11:11:35 PM] Theodor: It's not that important but okay
[8/18/2009 11:11:39 PM] Theodor: oh okay, ill ask you then
[8/18/2009 11:11:41 PM] Theodor: So..
[8/18/2009 11:11:48 PM] Theodor: Could you please tell me your name.
//Always show full confidence that his name is forgotten and make sure the subject experiences this in a positive way, this goes in the ethics section and say "What WAS your name?" not what IS... and it's really easy to comprehend the reason now, isn't it?
[8/18/2009 11:12:01 PM] Theodor: Sometimes my name just slips away from my mind, just like yours.
[8/18/2009 11:12:07 PM] Theodor: And it feels really exciting
[8/18/2009 11:12:23 PM] Theodor: It feels simply wonderful to forget your own name
[8/18/2009 11:12:26 PM] Theodor: so what is your name?
//Messed up here but don't worry, as you see it's perfectly normal to make mistakes, what you see is evidence that as you lead someone in a trance, you go into a light trance yourself, pretty much explains all the typo's and mistakes but perhaps I was just happy that everything worked out like I wanted-- for further information see the summary down in the end.
[8/18/2009 11:12:34 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: my name?
[8/18/2009 11:12:35 PM] Theodor: My name is Theo, and yours?
[8/18/2009 11:12:44 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: i dont really know
[8/18/2009 11:12:50 PM] Theodor: Great :)
[8/18/2009 11:13:13 PM] Theodor: Now, take a moment
[8/18/2009 11:13:16 PM] Theodor: and breath in
[8/18/2009 11:13:17 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: wait
[8/18/2009 11:13:17 PM] Theodor: and out
[8/18/2009 11:13:20 PM] Theodor: alright
[8/18/2009 11:13:21 PM] Theodor: ill wait
[8/18/2009 11:13:29 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: my name next to my text is alfred birketvedt
//Another mistake "you finally remembered your name?".. that "FINALLY" makes it look like if it really is his name but luckily he's just such a perfect subject so it didn't influence him too much
[8/18/2009 11:13:43 PM] Theodor: Is that your name? You finally remembered your name?
[8/18/2009 11:13:50 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: im not sure
[8/18/2009 11:13:57 PM] Theodor: Great :)
[8/18/2009 11:14:02 PM] Theodor: That's totally normal
[8/18/2009 11:14:17 PM] Theodor: so now, please type these numbers for me really quickly please
//Just making sure again..
[8/18/2009 11:14:28 PM] Theodor: 1 (3) 2 9 (5) 3 7 (2) 3 6
[8/18/2009 11:14:36 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: 1293736
[8/18/2009 11:14:41 PM] Theodor: perfect
[8/18/2009 11:14:52 PM] Theodor: So do you want to experience some more wonderful things?
[8/18/2009 11:14:57 PM] Alfred Birketvedt: sure
[8/18/2009 11:15:01 PM] Theodor: It will feel just fascinating
[8/18/2009 11:15:02 PM] Theodor: great

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's it guys, I really hope you enjoyed it but before I'll finish my first post on this blog, I'll make a summary to make sure you really got everything you need to do some hardcore text trancing ;)

Summary
---------
Ill drop everything in points to let you absorb everything even better:
1) Be confident - your confidence is the most crucial element in doing ANY kind of hypnosis and it will get better and better as you practice

2) Mistakes - Don't worry about typo's unless they change the meaning of your words significantly

3) Belief - Believe in your self, confidence is good but it doesn't always involve in believing so be confident and believe in your own abilities because that is what makes hypnosis happen! (Notice the was-is example and every little detail in your wording)

4) Originality - Always be original because you WILL need it, you don't need to follow this transcript because.. it's just an ordinary script like everything else! Use your own wording, arrange everything in your own way, so simply be ORIGINAL :D

5)Failure - It MIGHT happen because one of the next reasons..

* Pretalk - Always condition your subject to go into trance, do not say "if" you are going into trance because that shows worry and that you don't have confidence or perhaps it's just a habit but use "when" because that will have an amazing effect just like I said in the belief section.
*Wording - Everything is linked together so conditioning, being confident, having belief are actually the same thing, I'm just dividing "Successful hypnosis" into smaller sections :)
*Subject - First of all before I will continue to say anything.. Never and I mean NEVER blame your subject, always give praise and show appreciation and do it naturally. The subject has to be in the "I really want to experience hypnosis" mind frame but instead, most of the time your subjects will be like "Let's see if this works" so they see it as a challange, please take care of that in your pretalk. Also make sure the subject has enough time and will not be disturbed.. it's just as important as being ethical so.. I would say you'd need about 1 hour minimum for a session.

Notes: notice the time delay between each of my messages if you haven't already.. the subject responded pretty fast! I kinda speed it up a lot so if your just starting out, take it slowly and don't worry when something goes wrong because you can be very original, utilize whatever your subject gives and turn it in your favor! The most important note and probably the most obvious point would be..ALWAYS remove all suggestions and leave the subject feeling fantastic and once again, if something goes wrong, do not blame the subject, just think of an excuse but most of the time the subjects will give you one themselves when you ask "Why didn't it work?" or "What happened?" so please take care and I REALLY hope you enjoyed my first post on this blog, please take care and have fun using text hypnosis AND don't limit yourself to text trancing because that your reading this right now, means you have a lot of potential and you can even go outside and start zapping people because this blog truly has awesome resources to use!

See you soon,
Theo

Some Hypnosis Videos!

Tuesday, October 13, 2009
Hey guys, sorry for the long wait. I've been on holiday and organising my life as far as studies and moving back to my home country are concerned.

Today I will post a couple of videos on hypnosis. Namely, inductions, techniques and some material of hypnotists doing their thing.

I advise you all to take a close look at the body language of the hypnotists, their confidence and how they go about their inductions and the process of hypnosis. Obviously I'm not saying you should copy them, but use it as a guideline to how you should carry out an effective induction.

Group Hypnotic Induction

8 Word Instant-arm-drop induction

This induction is a favourite amongst many hypnotists in an impromptu/street senario. Personally I use it on subjects which I feel would be good subjects or those which have already been hypnotised by another hypnotist before.

Arm Lock Rapid Induction

2 Instant Inductions by Nathan

2 great inductions for those of you who are still in the beginning stages of learning hypnosis and want to move to more rapid inductions. (sound quality not too great, tsk tsk Nathan ).

Magnetic Palms group induction

Another good group induction. The most popular induction amongst the older (40+ years old) stage hypnotists.

A couple of speed trance/rapid inductions by Nathan

More inductions I would suggest you try out. Great for most hypnotic settings.

Street/Impromptu hypnosis (again by Nathan)

Nathan doin an impromptu session on the street. Pay close attention to the wording and process of the induction. Also check Nathan not even break a sweat! Hows that for confidence!

Now I would suggest you take a look at all these videos, learn the techniques and build on them. Most of the videos I have provided have got only bare basics to hypnosis in them so there is loads of room to add your own spin to the inductions and/or wording. But they are also proof of how even a basic induction can be effective!

Adrian
